About Kiro
Kiro is an agentic IDE built by AWS that treats a written spec, not a chat prompt, as the unit of work: the agent plans a feature, writes the design and data-flow docs, then implements, tests, and documents it end to end. It ships as both a desktop app and a CLI, supports Open VSX extensions and VS Code settings import, and needs no AWS account to try.
