Is Notion AI actually worth the extra cost for meeting summaries?

I have been using Notion for our team's project management and documentation for about two years now, and we recently added the AI add-on after hearing that it handles meeting notes well. We use Zoom for all our stand-ups and client calls, so I expected the "Sync with Zoom" feature to be a game-changer. Basically, I wanted to stop manually typing up action items and decisions after every hour-long call. So far, the experience has been mixed. The initial transcription is surprisingly accurate, even with some of our engineers using jargon. However, the summary it generates often misses the nuance of who is actually responsible for a task. It lists the task, but it doesn't always link it to the specific person mentioned in the conversation unless I explicitly ask it to in the prompt. I find myself editing the Notion page for twenty minutes after the meeting anyway, just to fix the attribution errors and clean up the bullet points. I am also curious about the latency. Sometimes the AI summary takes a good five to ten minutes to appear in the database view, which is annoying when I want to check the notes immediately after hanging up. Is this just a growing pain, or is this a fundamental limitation of how the integration works? For those of you who have been using this for longer than a month, have you found a specific workflow that makes this more efficient? Or did you end up switching to a dedicated meeting bot like Fireflies and just importing the transcripts into Notion manually? I am leaning toward canceling the subscription if this doesn't improve, but I want to hear from people who have actually lived with it for a quarter before making the call.
